Drumchapel Citizens Advice Bureau provides a well-established debt and money advice service supporting the local community.

We are now recruiting for an experienced adviser to join our team.

Hours: 17.5 hours per week

Contract: Fixed term to 31 March 2026, with scope for extension. This is a key role within Drumchapel CAB’s long-standing debt advice service.

We are seeking an experienced Debt & Money Adviser to provide high-quality advice and casework, including statutory debt options such as moratorium and sequestration. You’ll deliver holistic advice across debt, welfare rights, housing, and income maximisation, while also supporting colleagues by quality-checking casework and contributing to service development.

Essential: demonstrable experience in holistic advice and debt casework, strong knowledge of Scottish debt law and statutory solutions, and the ability to manage a busy caseload.

The post holder will deliver advice through a combination of face-to-face and telephone appointments, with occasional outreach sessions and flexibility for hybrid working following probation.
