Drumchapel Citizens Advice Bureau is seeking motivated and experienced advisers to join our team in delivering high-quality advice and information services to the community.
We are an established bureau with a strong reputation for delivering well-managed, proactive and quality-assured services, both directly and in partnership with statutory and voluntary sector organisations.
These roles involve providing generalist advice to clients across a range of subject areas. Advisers will support clients through a multi-channel delivery model, including face-to-face appointments, telephone and webchat, ensuring services are accessible and responsive to need.
The roles will include a mix of office-based and outreach delivery. Successful candidates may be required to travel to outreach locations within our area of benefit (G1–G15) as part of their duties.
Advisers will be responsible for managing a caseload, delivering accurate and effective advice, maintaining high-quality case records, and working collaboratively with colleagues and partner organisations.
About you
You will have experience of working in a busy advice environment and be confident in delivering advice and information services to a diverse client group.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of providing generalist advice within a Citizens Advice or similar setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and partners
- The ability to manage a varied workload and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational and IT skills, including case recording systems
- A commitment to high standards of customer service, equality and diversity
You will be self-motivated, adaptable and committed to continuous improvement, with a clear understanding of the role advice services play in supporting individuals and communities.
